The Centre 

This high-quality centre in the inner suburbs of Brisbane has been established by a visionary with over a decade of experience in childcare. They are driven by passion and commitment to providing individualised care. They have a higher ratio of educators to children ensuring a nurturing environment where each child’s unique needs are met. The centre offers a holistic approach to early education with a comprehensive range of programs across four dedicated rooms. 

The Opportunity 

The Assistant Director plays a key role in the centre through supporting its operations. You will work to support the team in creating and providing high-quality education and care and guiding and mentoring the teachers. Daily, you will be offered three hours off the floor, with the other time spent across the rooms mentoring and guiding the staff.

Requirements: 

• Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA Approved qualification  
• Senior First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate 
• Blue Card 
• Previous experience as an Assistant Director 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Highly organised and manages time effectively
